Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil the rotini pasta in salted water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool the pasta and stop the cooking process, preserving the perfect texture for the salad.
  2. Prepare the Smoked Turkey Bacon: While the pasta cooks, pan-fry the chopped smoked turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp and golden. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil, maintaining crunchiness.
  3. Chop the Vegetables and Cheese: Dice the cherry tomatoes, thinly slice the cucumber and red onion, cube the plant-based cheese, and roughly tear the fresh basil leaves to release aroma and flavor.
