Instructions

In a large bowl, combine flour, remaining granulated sugar, and salt. Add in the yeast mixture and melted vegetarian butter (plant-based). Mix until a soft dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  2. Make the Caramel Filling: While the dough rises, melt vegetarian butter (plant-based) in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon (natural spice), vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), apple cider vinegar, and dissolved natural gelling agent. Cook gently until thick and shiny. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Assemble the Rolls: Punch down the risen dough. Roll out on a floured surface into a 12×18 inch rectangle. Spread the caramel filling evenly over the dough, avoiding soaking it. Starting at the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 equal rolls and place them in a greased baking pan with space between each.
